Idlewild Park is a community designed space in the center of Easton, MD on the grounds of a former high school. Picnic areas are aplenty and park includes tennis courts, basketball, walking track, baseball diamonds, and a multi-age group handicapped-accessible playscape area.
This park features a wonderful community built play structure consisting of swings, slides, forts, plants and areas set for the imagination on a rubberized base. You can find two baseball/softball fields, a basketball court, ¼ mile track, three tennis courts on a rubberized surface, flower gardens, gazebo, grills, picnic tables, benches, water fountain, bathroom facility (open spring through fall) and plenty of parking.
