Maryland Playground Category: Playgrounds
Roger W. (Pip) Moyer Community Recreation Center at Truxtum Park offers families a wide variety of facilities including a fitness center, a three court gymnasium, a rock climbing wall, locker rooms, and much more. For a day pass to the PMRC, it costs Annapolis residents $6 for youth and $8 for adults. For non-residents, a day pass costs $7 for youth and $10 for adults. The Ballocity Indoor Playground is a great place to take kids during any season, especially if it is too hot or too cold to play outside. The indoor playground has mesh nets, climbing areas, a long twisting slide, ball cannons, and a place for toddlers to play on a soft floor. On the second level of the playground, kids can shoot balls down to the first level in a ball cannon. Next to Ballocity Indoor Playground is the “Kidz Zone,” which is another place that kids can play. The “Kidz Zone” also offers parents a babysitting service if they want to use the fitness facilities at the PMRC while their children have a ball. Ballocity has restrooms close by and is a great place to take kids of various ages.
