The Western Regional Park is a 190-acre park with tons of amenities. The park has four multi-purpose grass fields, two synthetic turf fields with lights, two basketball courts, a tee-ball feild, tennis courts, a playground, five pavillions and more. Families can also ride their bikes on the park’s trails.
Pets are allowed to be leashed at the park, but not at the playground or picnic areas. The playground has many different slides for kids to choose from and a rock climbing wall. Also, after a day at the playground, parents can take kids to the Gary J. Arthur Communtiy Center at Glenwood or the Library because they are near by.
