Our Preschool is one of the oldest established Preschools in the Annapolis area. It is known for its warm, relaxed atmosphere and abundance of tender loving care at all times. Class sizes are limited to the appropriate age group with low student/teacher ratios. The programs for two, three and four year olds make learning fun. It is a means by which the child’s awareness of his world increases. The program includes play time activities specially designed for the growth of young minds. We have a variety of curricular components that stimulate creative thinking, as well as directed activities to enable the child to exercise their minds, muscles and ever-expanding desire to learn. There is a brand new well–equipped playground, as well as indoor equipment to aid in play, fun and development. Music activities include singing, movement and language development. Dramatic play is also included and a large collection of children’s books and games are available for the children to use. Science activities and discussions are ongoing throughout the year, such as health, safety and seasonal changes. The children are exposed to number concepts and numerals, basic phonics and letters of the alphabet. Field trips and special events are also part of the program and provide unique experiences for the children. Parents and prospective students are welcome to visit by appointment. School hours are 9:00-noon. We offer two, three and five day morning programs, an Afternoon Enrichment program for Pre-K children, and Before and After Care until 6:00pm. We have programs all day from 7:30am-6:00pm.
