Severn is more than just a school. It’s a vibrant learning community where discovery, curiosity, and perseverance are celebrated in equal measure to academic success. At Severn, every student has the potential to be a leader. Here, students learn that education isn’t solely about the facts you know but about discovering who you are and how you can make a difference with that knowledge.

Though intentionally small in size, Severn offers an expansive range of opportunities in Middle and Upper School. With Advanced Placement (AP) classes in every discipline and an extensive offering of electives, Severn students have endless opportunities to try new things and expand their intellectual horizons, while also establishing a strong academic foundation.
