Queen Anne’s County teen world champion rodeo rider honored

Spencer Bramble and Pure Blue BoonA Queen Anne’s County High School student and world champion rodeo rider received the Maryland Horse Industry Board’s Touch of Class Award recently.

Agriculture Secretary Buddy Hance presented the award to Spencer Bramble, a 17 year-old senior at Queen Anne’s County High School, during a special “Evening at the Harness Races” program at Rosecroft Raceway in Prince George’s County last Saturday.

“Spencer represents the next generation of equine professionals who will continue Maryland’s heritage of outstanding horsemanship,” Hance said. “We are pleased to recognize a young man who has already achieved so much in his sport.”
