July has no shortage of live music events, from a floating concert series in Annapolis to The Patuxent Jazz Band performing in Pasadena.

Tunesday Concert Series
Throughout the month, 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday
Get your jam on at this floating concert series on Back Creek in Annapolis. This free, family-friendly event features live performances from local musicians aboard a “floating stage.”

Day Out at the Museum
July 12, 11 a.m. – noon
Take your little one to the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum in Annapolis for a fun, free story time, followed by interactive games, a craft and light snacks.

Paws to Read
July 19, 10 a.m. – noon
Is your child nervous to read to a grownup? Read to a four-legged friend at the Odenton Library instead, which will build confidence, literacy skills and a new friendship.

The Patuxent Jazz Band
July 20, 5-7 p.m.
Listen as locals play their hearts out in a jazz ensemble at Downs Park in Pasadena. The Patuxent Jazz Band will perform a range of styles, from jazz and swing to rock and Latin.
