Recipe blog: Cranberry Salsa

Cranberry Salsa

Ingredients:
1 pound cranberries, fresh – thaw if frozen
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
3 apples (any kind), not peeled, diced
3 oranges, peeled, seeded and diced
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
4 small serrano chilies, diced – fresh or canned
1 bunch green onions, chopped

Directions:
Finely chop the cranberries in a food processor or by hand.
Combine in a bowl with sugar, orange peel, apples, oranges, cilantro, chilies and green onions.
Mix well.
Set aside at room temperature for one hour, then chill.
Serve with turkey or on leftover turkey sandwiches.
Freezes well.

Serving Description: makes approximately 2 cups
Container: Large bowl, food processor
Prep Time: 20 minutes
