Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan will be conducting story time this weekend at the National Children’s Museum in National Harbor.
Recently named the Washington Redskins’ Walter Payton Man of the Year, Morgan will visit the National Children’s Museum on Saturday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. for two readings of “Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain.” Written by Verna Aardema, the story features a rhythmic narrative and brilliant illustrations. The event is part of the museum’s Read Across America initiative; a month-long series of programming that celebrates literacy.
