Science Night 2

Introduce your kids to the magic of science at Anne Arundel Community College’s Science Night Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Science Night 2In the theater, AACC faculty and students present a science show designed to amaze and educate the audience. Kids will see the fun and the intrigue of science with experiments including laying on a bed of nails, making elephant toothpaste, creating liquid nitrogen and other tricks rooted in science that look like magic.

In the dining hall, students will present displays and hands-on activities for guests to learn more about chemistry, anatomy & physiology, physics, microbiology, zoology and more. Science safety goggles and microscopes will be provided.

The event runs 5:30-8 p.m. Demonstrations will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and again from 7-8 p.m. in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts. Participatory activities for families will be in the dining hall (downstairs from the theater). The event is free. For details visit Anne Arundel Community College’s website.
