September Event Bites: Teen Game Night, Story Times, Sailing Race

The month of September is filled with fun events for kids and teens of all ages, from puppet story time at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum or teen game night at the library. Check out these four event bites for family-friendly ideas of what to do this month!

Art and Story Time
Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, 10:30-11 a.m. Monday
Enjoy story time with Mrs. Spears and her puppet, Puppy, followed by related activities for little ones and their caregivers at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum in Annapolis.

Teen Game Night
Sept. 4, 5-7 p.m.
Let teens roll the dice and play their hand at the Largo-Kettering Branch Library in Largo. Teens can bring their own games or play games provided by the library.

Wednesday Night Race Watch Party
Sept. 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Catch the last night race of the season at the Annapolis Maritime Museum Dock. Take your aspiring sea captain to see sailors compete in Annapolis.

Kids’ Kaboose
Sept. 13, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Stop by the Old Town Bowie Welcome Center for a fun story and cool activities in Bowie. This event is geared toward children ages 5 to 10.
