The Holidays are coming fast, and there has never been a better year to shop from local artists, creators and shops. Check out these six great ways to support local artisans at these Fall Markets around Annapolis are made to help kick off your holiday season.

Twilight First Friday Leonardtown

Friday Night Market

November 6. Head to Running Hare Vineyard to support local vendors each Friday night, 6–9 p.m.! Enjoy a drink while shopping for tasty treats, funky crafts, fresh local produce, and more! Running Hare Vineyard, Prince Frederick. 

Black Business Matters Pop-up Vendor Market

November 7. The City of Annapolis will host a “Black Business Matters” Pop- Up Vendor Market on Calvert Street on November 7, 2020 from 2 to 6 p.m. The street will be closed between Gotts Garage and Northwest Street.

Annapolis Artisans Market Holiday Show

November 7–8. Local by Design at the Gallery is home of 12 local businesses who put on the Annapolis Artisans Market; the AAM is an amazing furniture, art, and home decor show. Connect with local artists while you shop, get information on custom work from furniture, original art, soft goods, and framing; you will be inspired by the amazing works of art each business creates! Strathmore Virtual Museum Marketplace

November 11–18. Strathmore’s Museum Shop Holiday Market is going virtual, featuring the area’s best museum and cultural shops together in a one-stop online shop for fabulous finds that make marvelous gifts. Wildberry Vendor Market

Mistletoe and Moonlight

November 21. Robinson Nature Center’s annual maker mart takes on a craft fair appearance as you meet local artisans and shop their handmade and sustainable wares at tables spaced out both outside and inside Robinson Nature Center. Artist Sunday in Annapolis

November 29. Downtown Annapolis is filled with artist galleries, artist studios, record shops, book stores, musicians, performing arts, and shops that carry locally made items by artists. On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, join the Annapolis Arts District,  Inner West Street Association and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership in supporting local professional artists as part of a national initiative, to help you find unique, personal gifts for your loved ones, and invest in art that has a lasting legacy.
