Getting bullied in school? Worried about a friend? Feel threatened? Now help for Anne Arundel County public school students is just an app away.
In the wake of tragedies in schools around the country, the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s School Resource Unit began looking for creative ways to deal with school safety. As a result, the School Resource Unit designed a unique Smartphone app intended to give Anne Arundel County students another method to anonymously provide information to the police department.
The free app, entitled “AACOPD Speak Out,” is now available through Google Playstore (Android products) and for download via I-tunes (Apple products). The free app is now available in an Internet-based format at the following address: http://aacopdspeakout.myapp.name.
