Take the kids to see the glow of 50 hand-carved illuminated jack-o’-lanterns Oct. 22 on the grounds of Darnall’s Chance House Museum in Upper Marlboro.
There will be a campfire with spooky tales, marshmallows, popcorn and hot cider. Children can hunt for glowing jack-o’-lanterns to earn prizes.
Guests can bring their own chocolate bars and graham crackers if they wish to make s’mores.
Hours are 7-8:30 p.m. Admission is $4 and free for ages 4 and younger. Raindate is Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. No reservations are required.
