Some exciting family events are coming up at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds.
Spring Craft Festival – Fun for the whole Family – April 30 & May 1 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Open Saturday – 9:30am – 5pm and Sunday 9:30am – 3pm. Hundreds of hand crafted items made by local artist. Plenty of Jewelry, flower arrangements, ceramics, wood crafts, photography, leather crafts, clothing and plenty more to choose from. Some party plan vendors will be there too! Don’t forget Mothers Day is 8th. Daily attractions include a Sponge Bob Moon Bounce and Face Painting (fee charge). Also appearing will be Spiderman, Sponge Bob and others. Teen Idol Contest on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. $100.00 Grand Prize, $50.00 2nd Place. Cute Kid Contest on Sunday at 10am (ages 1-5 for boys and girls). Pre-Registration required for both contest. Kids can sign along with “Ellis” and his “Six string guitar” at 1pm. Antique Tractor Pull – Saturday April 30 at 12:00 noon. Antique, Historic and Open class tractors compete for trophies. Food available. Located at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Hwy.Rt.178 in Crownsville Md. Gate opens at 9:00am. Admission $5 per person. Tractor registration 11:00am (fee charged).
