Students in the band
Many students start playing instruments in elementary school and more than a few go on to pursue music in high school joining various bands. Some go for the marching band, some audition for orchestra and still others take a different tack and join a rock band.
In this series we will feature three students who took different musical paths. Gabe Quinones has aspirations of being a rock star some day and he is well on his way. Marisa Shultz is a flute player who was in the Marching Band at River Hill High School, and Jonathan Sotelo plays the cello and is a member of the Meade High School orchestra.
