Summer Fun—Day 16: Take a trip to Storyville

Take your little ones to Storyville for lots of fun with books in a child-sized village where preschoolers can learn and play for free.

Located in the Woodlawn and Rosedale libraries in Baltimore County, Storyville is great for kids birth to age 5. The child-sized village includes developmentally appropriate books and activities. The themed learning areas include a baby garden, grocery store and mailroom, puppet stage and theater, construction zone and more.

Woodlawn has a Toddler Woods where kids can crawl through a log and sit and read in a treehouse. Rosedale has a Toddler Bay with rocks to climb on a fish to catch and match.

Storyville is free and open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1–5 p.m.
