Make Dad’s day extra special by taking the family to a driving range. Many golf centers in the area offer lots of other activities as well so this makes for a perfect summer day of fun.
Spend the morning at the driving range then the afternoon on the mini golf course and Dad and the kids are sure to have a great Father’s Day.
Arundel Golf Park in Glen Burnie has a covered driving range to protect from the summer sun, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and batting cages. Relax at the end of the day at their snack bar, or check out their various demos about golf equipment and techniques.
Rocky Gorge 4 Seasons Golf Fairway in Laurel also has a driving range, miniature golf course, batting cages and arcade. Their batting cages are special in that they open onto the same field as the driving range and offer four types of baseball pitches and slow-pitch softball.
Severna Park Golf Center is another great spot for a day at the driving range. Sign up for its birthday club to get a free medium basket of balls on your birthday. The center has batting cages as well as a miniature golf course centered around an eight-foot waterfall. Score a hole-in-one on the 18th hole to win a free game.
