Have some fun and zoom through a go kart race with the kids.
There are several places where you can cruise on some of Maryland’s speedways. Watch the older kids race in their own karts, or get a double and let the younger kids ride along. Everyone will have a blast speeding along the track.
Here are some raceways in the greater Annapolis area:
Autobhan Indoor Speedway, Jessup
Hours: Mon-Thurs 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Fri 11 a.m.-midnight, Sat 10 a.m.-midnight, Sun 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Price: Mon-thurs 14 laps adult/12 laps junior $19.99.
Hours: Sun-Thurs 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Fri & Sat 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
Price: Each lap is $2.75, $3.25 for double karts
The Go Kart Track Inc., White Marsh
Hours: Mon-Thurs 10 a.m. -11 p.m., Fri & Sat 10 a.m.-midnight, Sun 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
Price: One Seater $6.50 per ride, Two Seater $7 per ride
Hours: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. 7 days a week
Price: $6 for 1 ticket, 1 ticket = 6 laps
