Spend the day at the award winning Centennial Park in Ellicot City walking, playing or heading out on a boat.

kayaking familyCentennial Park is home to a 54-acre man-made lake with a  2.5 mile paved path around it. Take the kids for a stroll or bike ride around the lake and keep your eyes open white-tailed deer, beavers, foxes, turtles, herons, and other native birds. Stop at one of several large playgrounds with climbing structures and slides.

Boats are available for rent including paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, row boats, and fishing boats. For pricing, visit the Adventure Shack and Rentals website. Fish in the lake for trout, sunfish, and tiger muskies either from a boat or from shore.

Concessions are available at the Adventure Shack as well, or pack a picnic and eat at one of the pavilions spread across the park.
