Take the family out for an afternoon of art, crafts, live music, and outdoor dining in the heart of Annapolis.
Every first Sunday of the month, May through November, the first block of West Street and Calvert streets in Annapolis comes alive with unique artists and crafters, live music, street performers and outdoor cafes.
Restaurants will set up street-side cafes, and some offer indoor entertainment during the festival dates as well. The streets are closed and vendors will be open from 11 to 5 p.m.
The First Sunday Arts festivals showcase all types of art including painting, sculpture, pottery, glass, wood turning, photography and other mediums. Performances take place in three dedicated areas, with the main stage in the parking lot next to Stan and Joe’s Saloon.
If you’re not ready to attend the event in-person, visit the 200+ online sellers here.
Admission is free and parking is available at the State Parking Garage on the corner of Calvert and Bladen streets. Leashed pets are welcome.
The festival is sponsored by the Inner West Street Business Association. For details and updates, visit the First Sunday Arts Festival website.
