Summer Fun Day #75: Explore Tuckahoe State Park

Explore more of Maryland’s parks with a visit to Tuckahoe State Park, located 35 miles east of the Bay Bridge in Caroline County.

A ropes course is open several times a year for public use with a 40-foot rock wall, tube net, zip line, 50-foot giant swing and more. The tire playground will also be a huge hit for kids who want to climb and play.

Tuckahoe is a great place for camping as well because it has campsites and cabins for families looking to stay overnight.

The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. There is no day use fee.
