Summer Fun Day #16: Swim at Cascade Lake

To cool off on a hot summer day, take the kids to Cascade Lake in Carroll County.

cascadelakeGo for a swim and enjoy the large, roped-off swimming area that has waterslides and multiple platforms for jumping in the water.

For younger kids, there is a Spray ‘N Playground nearby where they can splash without having to swim.

In addition to swimming, families can fish, walk on a trail around the lake, rent paddleboats, and have barbecues on charcoal grills located throughout the park.

Other amenities include a café, gift shop and bathhouses.

Cascade Lake is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Admission runs $8-$15.
