Summer Fun: Take the Turkey Hill Ice Cream Experience

100 Days of Summer Day 66

Take the kids for some ice cream history and fun at The Turkey Hill Experience, which is located about 10 minutes from the ice cream company’s factory in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

On the tour, families can learn the history of the company and how the ice cream is made, sit in a milk truck, milk a mechanical cow and star in a Turkey Hill commercial.

In addition to the Experience, visit the Taste Lab where you can create your own ice cream, starting with vanilla and mixing in other flavors and toppings. Seating is limited so be sure to reserve a spot ahead of time.

Exploring all aspects of the Experience will take between 60 to 90 minutes, and visiting both the Experience and the Taste Lab will take between 90 to 120 minutes. During peak times, allow an additional 30 to 60 minutes.

The Experience costs $11 and the Taste Lab and Tea Discovery are additional costs that range from $8.95-$13.95. You can buy all three in a bundle package for $24.95/person.

Buy tickets online in-advance to secure a spot and to choose which time you would like to visit.

For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Turkey Hill Experience website.
