Celebrate summer with the Baltimore B&O Railroad Museum’s Beach Party Bash, which has tons of fun hands-on activities to engage kids.
The event runs from Aug. 15-19 and includes story time, T-shirt making, sand fun, boat building, potato sack races, a bounce house, and surprise appearances by Elsa, Anna and Choo Choo Blue.
In addition to the beach party, be sure to check out the museum’s historic collections of some of the oldest railroad locomotives and other artifacts from American railroad history.
General admission to the museum costs $18 for adults and $12 for children ages 2 to 12. Train rides can be purchased at an additional cost for $3 for adults and $2 for children.
