See the story of Sleeping Beauty come alive, performed by the Ballet Theatre of Maryland Feb. 19-21at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis.
The performance promises a fair princess, a fire-breathing dragon and plenty of magic. When an enchanted kingdom and the most fair princess in the land fall prey to the ultimate mistress of evil, the fate of all rests in the hands of a small band of fairies and the courage of a young prince. Sleeping Beauty is for all ages.
A free princess tea party will be held an hour before the 2 p.m. performance on Sunday. Other show times are Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets run $27-52.
