Kids will love the Cincinnati Ballet’s particularly sweet staging of “The Nutcracker” at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House in Washington, D.C., Nov. 23-27.
Join Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince in this cherished holiday tradition. This performance is brought to life with a bright and colorful production featuring elaborate scenery, whimsical stage effects and awe-inspiring acrobatics.The journey to the Land of Sweets includes exotic celebrations and fantastic characters from battling mice and tumbling snowballs to dancing poodles and cupcakes.
Following tradition, dozens of local children will join the dancers on stage, while the Arlington Children’s Chorus members will sing in the dazzling Snow Scene.
