Shamrock ShindigCheck out the 3rd Annual Shamrock Shindig for fun for the whole family Sunday, March 16, 2014, before hitting the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Baltimore.

Starting at 10:30 a.m. at Pierce’s Park, the Shamrock Shindig will have live music by the Celtic band Barleyjuice, strolling performers and games and crafts for the kids. There will also be drinks and foods for adults. Admission is free, but some activities require a small fee.

This year, with the purchase of a $7 kids’ Shamrock Pass, your child can participate in two crafts, decorate a cookie and receive parade gear. The event will run until 2 p.m. at Pierce’s Park, located at Pier V in Baltimore.

From there head to Baltimore’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade which starts at 2 p.m. at the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon and heads down Charles Street to Pratt Street and Market Place. It is a true celebration of Irish culture, music, song and dance.
