Spend a day of imaginative fun and natural play at the 7th Annual Fairy & Gnome Home Festival April 23 at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons.
Families can take part in games, whimsical craft activities and even go on a unicorn ride. The first stop is the Fairy Lolly, a creative space where youngsters can climb, explore, build and dream with a variety of imaginative toys and props. Next visitors can search for all the hidden fairy and gnome homes throughout the garden.

- Baby animal petting zoo
- Meet a mermaid
- Strolling entertainers
- Fantasy Face Painting booth
- Dig for Troll Treasure
- Variety of gnome games
- Fairy Fishing Hole
- Bubbles by Marigold Bumbleroot
- Hoop antics by Chesapeake Bay Hoop Troupe
Enjoy a selection of magical music and dance — from ballet to hula hooping — on the Hungerford Patio. Also check out the Merry Menagerie exhibit in the Murray Arts Building, which features 20 carousel animals from the Southern Maryland Carousel Group.

12:15 – 1pm Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet presents magical dances and performances
1:15 – 2 pm COSMIC Flute Choir
2:15 – 3pm Kristin Rebecca, harp music
3:15 – 4pm Painted Trillium, Celtic and Folk music
Be sure to dress for the day by wearing wings, feathers, capes or caps or visit the many vendors to find just the right costume and props. Family-friendly food and drink will be available including lunch fare, kettle corn, shaved ice, hand-dipped local ice cream and more.
