Take the kids to the National Book Festival

The Library of Congress National Book Festival is a great event for all book lovers young and old and is planned for Saturday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. -10 p.m.
This year’s National Book Festival will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and the expanded venue will offer a more genre pavilions than ever before. There will be a pavilion for history, biography, fiction and mystery, poetry and prose, children’s literature, contemporary life and teens and new this year there will be separate pavilions for science, culinary arts, and picture books sure to interest even the youngest readers.
