You are invited to Taste the Beaches – a free block party at Kellam’s Field at Chesapeake Beach!
Taste the Beaches is a family friendly event with a community block party vibe. There will be local foods – including seafood, food trucks, and local breweries and wineries, craft vendors and local shops represented. Live music will be proved by John Luskey & Kenney Holmes.
The Kids Zone will feature The Chesapeake Mermaid, the FishMobile (mobile aquarium is home to native Bay inhabitants) presented by Phillips Wharf Environmental Center, Raptors Eye –Live Birds of Prey will have a live owl, falcon and hawk. Kids will also have the chance to meet “Fluffy” the Cotton Candy Unicorn! In addition there will be a photo booth, balloon artist, bouncy slides, games and more!
The event is from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free. Food and beverages are extra. No ticket or preregistration needed. Shuttle bus transportation will be available from the North Beach Fire Department parking lot.
