Tasty treats and fun at Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival

Take part in the family friendly fun of the Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival Sunday, Dec. 4, with entertainment, chocolate, holiday shopping and the lighting of the new West Street Light Canopy.

annapolis holiday WKids can jump in a giant gingerbread house moon bounce, roast marshmallows and make s’mores at the first pit in the middle of West Street, pose for pictures with Lady Godiva and visit Santa. Santa will be collecting toys, coats and hats for the We Care and Friends Holiday Party for the area homeless and kids in need.

Families can also take a chocolate tour along West Street with dozens of vendors selling various chocolate specialties including chocolate caramels, bars, truffles, fudge, cookies, fondue and more. A holiday market will feature local craftspeople with a range of handmade items including jewelry, pottery, candles, glass and more.

Entertainment runs noon to 5 p.m. and will culminate with the lighting of the newly expanded West Street Holiday Light Canopy. The event will take place along the first block of West Street in Annapolis. Admission is a $5 suggested donation for adults and kids are free with a paying adult. Proceeds will go to support the Annapolis Arts District. Everyone making a donation will get a complimentary hot chocolate from the air stream camper.
