Five STEM students from South River High School may have an app on the market soon.
The five students, who make up a team from the school’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math program, were recently named among the top ten teams of the Verizon Innovate App Challenge. The students are juniors Maryam Ermin-Sinanovic, Jasmine Hall, Gelsey Jian, Megan Prass, and Heritage Weems.
The mobile app they developed is called “Study Buddy” and is aimed at increasing academic success by encouraging good study, organizational, and time management skills.
