How to make a turkey cone craft

  1. Begin by using your scissors to cut a large half circle out of your piece of orange paper.

  2. Roll up the half circle to create a cone and then secure it with a piece of tape.

  3. On the backside of your patterned paper, sketch out long oval shapes that come to a point at each end like feathers.

  4. Use your scissors to cut out each feather until you have a handful of each color and pattern.

  5. Arrange your feathers and glue them onto the back side of your paper cone to create the turkey’s plumage.

  6. Now it’s time to add the finishing touches. Glue on a pair of googly eyes, then create a beak by cutting out a diamond shape piece of paper and gluing it in half. If you’d like, you can even use your textured paper to create a gizzard!
