Touch-a-Truck at UMBWMC

TouchATrucklogoIf your kids are obsessed with trucks, be sure to take them to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center’s “Touch-a-Truck” event this weekend.

On Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids can see, touch and learn about a variety of things on wheels including service and emergency vehicles and construction and public safety equipment.

There will also be free flu vaccines for children over 6 months and adults as well as health screenings and education for the entire family.

The event will also include face painting and balloon animals. Refreshments and promotional materials will also be available. The event is free but donations of non-perishable food items for the North County Emergency Outreach Network will be accepted. The event will be held rain or shine at 301 Hospital Dr. in Glen Burnie.
