What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?

Do you have plans for New Year’s Eve? If you’re looking for some, here are some of our choices for fun ways to ring in the new year!

First, let’s look at what’s going on in Maryland’s Capitol. Annapolis really knows how to ring in the New Year! Families can go down to City Dock, bring chairs, and hang out to enjoy some of the best entertainment around.

If you like to get out early, be there at 5:30 PM for a show sure to please the entire family.  There’s even a 7:30 PM fireworks display for the early revelers.  Not to worry, that’s just the start of the party! Annapolis cranks the party back up at 8:00 PM with more music and festivities to take us all the way into 2011.  Of course no New Year’s Eve in Annapolis is complete without a breathtaking midnight fireworks display over the harbor.

Here’s the event roundup:

3:00 PM – 7:30 PM           Kid’s Activities

The Chesapeake Children’s Museum will be hosting “New Year’s Around the World” theme.  Kid’s will get to experience examples of New Year’s traditions from around the world.

5:30 PM – 7:30 PM             Family Friendly Entertainment

7:30 PM                              Early Bird Fireworks Display

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM           Party on the Dock with 8 Ohms Band
