It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Chances are, you and your family are counting the days until Christmas, and what better way to celebrate than to visit Santa?

See your child glow with excitement as they tell St. Nick they’ve been good all year and take photos to treasure for a lifetime. Check out these five local spots to see Santa this season outside of the classic mall experience.

Willow Oak Flower & Herb Farm

Make your way to the North Pole in one night! Explore many lighted scenes of Christmas as you walk through the winter woods to visit Santa in his cabin and take photos in his magical sleigh. Enjoy the Christmas barn and hot chocolate. The trail is about a half mile long, with many stops along the way. This is a woodland trail, so double strollers do not fit on the path. Pets are not allowed.

Arundel Olympic Swim Center

Swim with Santa at this family-friendly event that includes pool time, a photo with St. Nick and a stuffed stocking. Children must be at least 3 years old and fully toilet trained; no swim diapers allowed. Register early; space is limited. Walk-ins are welcome!

Children’s Theatre of Annapolis

Showcasing performances from past and present Children’s Theatre of Annapolis talent, fun holiday snacks and games, vendors and a visit from Santa and his bag of gifts, this event sets the stage for a wondrous and joyous holiday celebration!

Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company Lodge

Parents and children are invited to enjoy donuts and hot cocoa with Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch and Giggles the Elf! Take fun holiday photos with the whole family. The Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company is collecting donations of hats, scarves and gloves to distribute to unhoused neighbors in Anne Arundel County.

Spend the evening with family and friends at the community center’s free annual Cookies & Cocoa with Santa! Shop for last-minute holiday gifts, enjoy crafts, a movie and treats and get your picture taken with Santa. There will be a festive photo booth, along with Santa’s elf workshop.
