
Learn to ice skate at Glen Burnie Town Center with lessons for ages 4 and older. Lessons are $80 for four weeks. If you’re confident in your skating ability, lace up and make your way to Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink, located in front of the park’s visitor center.
Enjoy a day of outdoor skating for two-hour sessions; skates, helmets and skate sharpening are provided on site. Admission is $6 for seniors and children 12 and younger and $7 for adults; skate rentals are $3. Season passes are available. Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink is open weekdays, except Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., and weekends 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
It’s the Year of the Snake! Take your little one to a Lunar New Year story time to learn more about the traditions behind this festive day—the Library at the Mall is hosting a story time Jan. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the Glen Burnie Library is hosting a story time Jan. 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Both feature a fun morning of music, dancing and crafts.
