100 Days of Maryland Summer: Write a Note of Thanks to Our Troops

letter-writingWrite a letter to our troops with your kids for a quick, fun, and meaningful activity.

Following Memorial Day, we are remembering our military members of past and present. Take the time to write a letter of thanks and support to a military member.  Having your kids show their support with a letter or drawing is a great way to help our miliary and have a fun experience with your kids.

Today, your family can take a minute to show support for our military serving at home and abroad by sending an encouraging letter or drawing.

There are many organizations that make it easy to connect with our troops, such as A Million Thanks and Wounded Warrior Project. Visit these organizations’ websites for details on what to include in your letter and where to send it.
