Once Christmas is over, celebrating this holiday season continues with these New Year’s Eve events!

We have found plenty of family-friendly New Year’s Eve fun listed below—including celebrations that wrap up way before bedtime and a few grown-up events if you’re getting a sitter.

Annapolis New Year’s Celebration
Dec. 31. All in-person events have been canceled except the fireworks in the harbor at 5:30 p.m. and again at midnight when the second fireworks display will go off in the harbor. Free. 4-6 p.m. Susan Campbell Park, Annapolis. annapolis.gov.

Noontime New Year – 2021
Dec. 31. Join us for an intimate, fun and bedtime-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration that will have kiddos and parents smiling and enjoying a well-deserved day of play, fun, and time together as we say goodbye to 2021 and hello to a new year! Take part in fun (and physically distant) New Year’s Eve activities as we countdown to a year full of new adventures! Advanced registration required due to limited capacity. $19.95. New Year’s Eve at Noon. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. 2 Shows available 11am and 1:30pm. Five, four, three…two…the countdown is on for the New Year, so and bring it on in style at Eco Adventures. $30.00 – $45.00. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. EcoAdventures, Millersville. ecoadventures.org.

Midnight Noon Party – 2021
Dec. 31. Everyone’s favorite ball drop before bedtime is back! Count down to the new year at the Maryland Science Center’s annual Midnight Noon celebration! Enjoy loads of festive activities that will get you in the mood to celebrate. Explore all three floors of hands-on science exhibits. Rock out to the bright and exuberant tunes of Marsha and the Positrons, and help us ring in the New Year with a noontime ball drop! All activities are free with paid admission or membership. Noon Year’s Eve with Chesapeake Children’s Museum
Dec. 31. Free Virtual Event. We will share stories and traditions from around the world to ring out the old and ring in the new until it’s time to countdown to Noon! Starts at 10:30 a.m. on the Chesapeake Children’s Museum Facebook page.

Noon Year’s Eve Party – 2021
Dec. 30. Let little ones ring in 2022 a little early at noon on December 30! We will have books, dancing, noisemakers, and a countdown to noon! 11:30am-12:30pm. Anne Arundel County Public Library, Broadneck.

Midnight at 7 – 2021
Dec. 31. Ring in the New Year with an exciting fireworks display at 7 p.m. Walk through the Symphony of Lights, Food trucks and entertainment TBA. $15; ages 3 and under free. 5:30–7:30 p.m. Symphony Woods, Columbia.

Noon Year’s Eve at the B&O
Dec. 31. Don’t miss Noon Year’s Eve at the B&O, where your little ones can bring in the New Year well before bedtime! This kid-focused daytime New Year’s Eve celebration features fun festivities including New Year’s Resolution writing and party hat making stations. Then, join us for a countdown to 12 Noon, when we’ll give an early welcome to the New Year with celebratory confetti and streamers, and of course, a ball drop! 10 a.m.–2 p.m. B&O Railroad Museum, Baltimore.

New Year’s at the Hyatt in Cambridge
